Job summary
The and Compliance Management Supervisor leads and mentors the compliance team, ensuring effective collaboration and overseeing the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, guidelines. This role serves as the primary point of contact for compliance inquiries and ensures the integration of new regulatory and legal requirements across sites.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the compliance management team, providing guidance, coaching, and resources for continuous learning.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related inquiries and issues, managing, tracking, and resolving them to minimize risk.
- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures in line with current regulatory, legal, and industry standards.
- Ensure all compliance documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with internal and external frameworks.
- Lead the implementation of new regulatory requirements (e.g., FSSC) across multiple sites, ensuring consistency and seamless integration.
- Regularly monitor and assess the organization’s compliance performance, identifying non-compliance trends, risks, and recommending corrective actions.
- Organize and maintain all compliance documents, ensuring proper version control and easy access for audits.
- Prepare and submit regular compliance reports to the management team, highlighting risks, achievements, and areas needing attention.
- Manage compliance training programs, ensuring materials are updated and training records are maintained.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and effectively communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance performance using KPIs and identify areas for continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or any related field.
- Work Experience:
- At least three (3) years of experience in overseeing compliance, including management systems and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in leading a team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring team members.
- In-depth knowledge of quality and food safety management systems such as HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and Halal, including hygiene and sanitation requirements.
- Experience in risk management, identifying and mitigating compliance-related risks.
- Advanced experience in the Food Manufacturing and Food Safety industry is a strong advantage.
