Technical Sales Specialist (Sales Specialist)

General Objective of the Job

The Technical Sales will work closely with customers and their regional sales team to grow and promote the sale of Chemrez. The incumbent would be the first line of contact with all new customers and along with the sales team, will establish and maintain long-term business relationships with new and current customer base.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with large, strategic current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives.
  • Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
  • Actively sell and support innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships.
  • Demonstrate the ability to stabilize jeopardy business in large strategic accounts.
  • Travel within assigned sales territory.


  • With Technical Sales or Engineering background is preferred
  • Bachelor’s / College Graduate in any 4 years Business course such as Agriculture, Marketing, Business Administration and other course
  • With at least 1 year of proven sales or marketing experience
  • Works/with background in the Agriculture industry as tradesman. Preferably with sales experience/knowledge specifically in the banana export and/or pineapple industry in Mindanao.
  • Knowledgeable of the pesticide and fertilizer markets in Mindanao
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must know how to speak Bisaya, English and Tagalog
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
  • Strong presentation skills and professional appearance
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and can willing to work from Monday to Saturday at 7:30AM-4:30PM
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
  • Work requires extensive travel to current and potential clients, requires valid driver’s license and knows how to drive manual transmission vehicle
  • Amenable to work in Davao City
