R&D Technologist

General Objectives of the Job

• To develop new products and improve existing grades for the business growth of the company.
• To perform evaluation and benchmarking tests of developed and improved products.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible in major phases of product development and improvement
   – Prepares design plan and conducts regular updating on the status of assigned projects considering the aspect, impact, hazard, and risks involved in environment, health, and safety.
2. Provides Technical Support to Marketing
   – Conducts technical service to customers for new product introduction and to address reported concerns on our products.
3. Provides Technical Support to Production and QMCD
   – Plans new and reviews current projects with key personnel from Production and Quality Management sections.
4. Provides Technical Support to Purchasing and IMI
   – Coordinates with Purchasing in sourcing of materials for new developments and existing products for cost improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be a Bachelor’s/College Degree Graduate of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• With at least 1 year relevant work experience is preferred but not required
• Licensed Chemist
• Knowledge on Polymer Technology and application in various fields
• With positive attitude and quick learner
• Scientific and numerical skills
• Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Written and oral communication skills
• Computer Literate
• Willing for 5-days compressed work week schedule
• Willing to work onsite in Bagumbayan, Calle Industria, Quezon City
