Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees and supervises all production activities in the processing line.
- Maintains the optimum production process conditions under normal conditions and takes action in the event of an abnormality.
- Sets daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicates them to employees.
- Organizes workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
- Ensures the safe use of the equipment and schedules regular maintenance.
- Checks production output according to specifications.
- Makes performance and progress reports.
- Enforces strict safety guidelines and company standards.
- Trained new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
- Initiates improvements in the system and procedures affecting the different sections.
- Implements programs to maintain a safe, orderly, and clean workplace.
- Conducts and initiates regular toolbox meetings.
- Enforces discipline within his scope and ensures that the company rules and regulations are followed by staff and workers.
- Checks and validates the accuracy of all data recorded, line reports, and calculates and reports line performance.
- Follows established manufacturing standards, ensuring that the products conform to required food safety and hygiene qualifications.
- Participates in the HACCP reviews in the area of responsibility and immediately initiates corrective and preventive measures recommended by the HACCP review committee.
- Recommends line and procedural modifications to improve cleaning, reduce waste, and increase line efficiency.
Strategic
- Production shift schedule due to foreseen issues to maximize OEE.
- Yearly OPL commitments are based on analysis and execution/production strategic planning.
- Continuous Improvement Member.
- Member of the Strategic Planning Team.
- Ensures all equipment is in good condition and operational.
- Leads in providing a constructive CAPA report.

- OEE and weekly production report

- Monthly KPI, DIFOTIS, OEE, GMP, Maintenance, HSE, Quality, Personnel Issue, Audits, Non-Conformances of Products
- As needed: CAR, product trials, and audit findings responses
- As needed: HR surveys, the incident report, and explanation letters
Qualification and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical), preferably licensed.
- With at least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Relevant training and certification in industrial production, preferably in oil refining and engineering.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledgeable in the fats and oils industry with a strong background in the modification and texturization of fats and oils.
- Excellent problem–solving skills and a strong work ethic
- Able to coordinate multi-talented production employees.
- Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
