Product Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Assists the Marketing Manager for Homecare in formulating and executing marketing plans for assigned products/categories designed to achieve company sales, units, and profit objectives.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To assist the Marketing Manager in developing and executing the marketing plans for the assigned brands/products. The marketing plan outlines the short-term and long-term objectives of the product category, the strategies, and specific action plans in order to achieve sales and profit objectives.
  2. To assist in product and package development of new and existing products and determine selling features (i.e., sizes, pricing, and product claims).
  3. To assist in the development and execution of specific strategies and plans for the brand:- Sales promotion activities and merchandising programs in conjunction with the Sales Department. (i.e., trade fairs, auto shows, and other related events).- Advertising programs in digital/social media in conjunction with the Advertising agency.- Advertising programs in conjunction with the Creative and Media agencies.- PR activities
  4. Prepare budgets (units, sales, and A&P spending) for the assigned brands.
  5. Coordinate with the toll packer and Logistics for inventory requirements
  6. Conduct market research in securing market analyses and consumer reactions to products, concepts, and advertising.
  7. Conduct periodic store checks and submit findings/observations.
  8. Prepare periodic brand and marketing budget reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. With at least 3 years of Marketing work experience with an FMCG company
  2. Marketing or Business Management graduate
  3. Analytical, Assertive, confident, and reliable
  4. Creative and has initiative
  5. Can plan, organize, lead, and control
  6. With good oral and written communication skills
  7. With a pleasing personality, they should be presentable as he/she will face the client.
