General Objective of the Job
This position is responsible for the blending of oils.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the weekly and daily oil blending schedules
- Conformance and availability of blended oils to specifications, required volume and schedule
- Keeps Blending areas clean and within 5S and GMP standard
- Proper order, calibration and repair of Blending tank equipment instruments, thermometers, gauges, filters, flow meters and tools.
- Ensures that his area of responsibility is adequately supplied and staffed
- Ensures that all actions of his group is coordinated with other sections and are in line with the goals of the company
- Responsible oil blending performances and outputs including coordination, daily job planning/schedule and material request as filters, nitrogen gas, cleaning materials, etc.
- Implements regulations related to product safety (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, general housekeeping (5S)
- Ensures that his area is adequately manned with skilled personnel and maintains their discipline
Qualifications
- Graduate of Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- With 1-2 years’ experience in a food manufacturing industry
- Able to build good relationship with colleagues
- Be able to work under pressure
- Have good problem solving skills and have ability to make quick, effective decisions
