Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing small to medium-sized customers in the coatings and composite industry. The primary goal is to sell polymer emulsions and pre-dispersed colorants while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Account Management: You will manage customer accounts, identify new sales opportunities, and conduct product presentations. You’ll work to ensure customer satisfaction and grow long-term partnerships.
- Technical Support: You will serve as the main technical contact for customers, understanding their needs and providing support. This includes collaborating with internal teams (R&D, QC, Production) on product development, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Internal Coordination: You’ll be the link between customers and internal departments, making sure orders are processed, delivered on time, and that any product issues or complaints are resolved.
- Financial Management: You will monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely payment collections, coordinating with the finance team as needed.
- Reporting: You’ll be responsible for keeping records of sales activities, providing performance reports, and helping with demand forecasting based on market trends.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: A college degree is required, and a background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience:
- For the first opening, we are looking for a candidate with at least some work experience, preferably in the coatings, chemicals, or a related industry.
- For a second opening, we are open to considering fresh graduates.
- Skills: The ideal candidate must be willing to learn the technical side of the coatings and construction industry. Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills are essential. You should also be self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to adapt to different environments.
