General Objective of the Job
This job supports the Inventory Supervisor in the performance of day to day inventory control and accounting. The role performs update of inventory transactions in the systems to ensure correct inventory volume, cost and valuation. The role also does inventory related administrative works.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs daily tasks but not limited to the following: Landed cost set up, encoding and analysis. Set up of new code for new item to the systems (AX) item information sheets originating from Marketing, does ABC (an inventory categorization technique) analysis for selective inventory control, review transaction edit lists from warehouse to check for potential errors, cost checking of transactions for sales returns, production yield, transfers of stocks, verifies unit cost used in Purchase Order (PO), prepares upon request of pick up slips/transfer of stocks, monitors other stocks related transactions.
- Performs monthly tasks but not limited to the following: Stock count and reconciliation, goods in transit reconciliation, backload, summary of non-moving /slow moving stocks, expired /near expiry stocks, monitors disposals from receiving, purchases and ending inventory stock status.
- Filing of stocks related documents e.g. DR transaction edit lists, Transfer of Stocks Slips (TOS), Pick-up Slips (PUS), Material Requisition Issuance Slips (MRIS)
- Prepare MANCOM report and monthly status report.
Qualifications
- Must be a Bachelor’s Degree Graduate in Accountancy or any related course
- Open to Fresh Graduates
- With at least 1 year experience in inventory accounting
- CPA is preferred but not required
- Must have exposure in Computerized Accounting Systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word
- Must possess good communication skills
- Willing for 5-days compressed work week schedule
- Amenable to work and report in Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City
