General Objective of the Job:

The Digital Marketing Specialist, with a focus on social media management, plays a crucial role in elevating the brand’s online presence. This individual is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize campaigns. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, they ensure cohesive marketing efforts while staying up-to-date on trends to discover innovative ways to connect with audiences and drive brand growth.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with overarching marketing goals.
  •  Produce high-quality, engaging content across various social media platforms, including text, images, and videos.
  • Monitor and engage with followers to foster a positive online community and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep content relevant and engaging.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and sales, to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
  • Oversee social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting strategies, and performance analysis.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, providing insights and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct research to understand target audiences and tailor content to meet their preferences and needs.
  • Respond to negative feedback or crisis situations on social media promptly and professionally.

 

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media management and content creation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts and executing successful campaigns.
  • Proficiency in various social media platforms and tools, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging content tailored to different audiences.
  • Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to inform strategies and improve campaigns.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization principles and best practices.
  • Experience with social media advertising platforms and tools, including budget management and targeting.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
