Main Responsibilities
Administrative
- Participate in all weekly staff meetings
- Maintain files and documentation of community programs and projects
- Prepare reports for evaluation of programs, events and activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of beneficiary information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Community Program
- Assist immediate Supervisor/Program Coordinator in managing and monitoring community programs and projects in Quezon Province and Davao.
- Ensure timely and regular reporting on the project implementation to the immediate Supervisor/Program Coordinator.
- Liaise with all stakeholders and partners and maintain good communication and working relationship with them.
- Organize and coordinate meetings and activities or special events and answer questions from partners, donors, beneficiaries, and attendees.
- Assist in community and beneficiary profiling.
- Assist in the creation of promotional materials and presentations.
- Attend and assist in monthly Kumustahan Session (Values Formation) with the project beneficiaries.
Working Conditions
- Immersion in LFI activities such as kumustahan session, partners’ visits, home visitation, outreach projects and others.
- Flexible hours – may require weekends and occasional evening meetings with community groups/stakeholders.
- Fieldwork and working with community groups may contain the usual risks or discomforts.
Place of Assignment
- NCR but will require travel, fieldwork, and community immersion in monitoring partners and project beneficiaries in the different areas. Current projects are in Quezon Province and Davao.
Qualifications
- Male or female
- A graduate of social work, community development, development studies, and sociology and other related courses
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Work experience in NGO, diverse community groups including farmers and local government units is an advantage.
- Good leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven and able to deliver results with minimum supervision.
