Job summary:
The major job function of a Manufacturing Section Lead is to oversee and coordinate the activities of a specific section within the manufacturing department to ensure efficient production processes. The Manufacturing Section leads manages a team, implements production schedules, and maintains quality standards to meet production targets.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant to ensure reliable and efficient operations with optimal product quality.
- Implement standards, procedures, and processes to manufacture high-quality products.
- Plan and organize production schedules.
- Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure that health and safety regulations and guidelines are met.
- Determine quality control standards.
- Oversee production processes.
- Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets.
- Ensure all company regulations and government legislations are adhered to.
- Supervise and manage the work of Multi-skillers and OSPs.
- Organize relevant training sessions for the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: Graduate of Mechanical, Industrial, or Food Engineering; with license is an advantage.
- Work Experience: With a minimum of at least 1-year experience in a supervisory role in the food industry.
- Job Skills:
- With knowledge of Production Planning and Scheduling.
- With a background in HACCP and Internal Audit.
- Capable of training team members.
