Senior Sales Specialist

General Objective of the Job

The Sr. Sales Specialist will sell and collect to the largest volume of customers in the market and the industry in accordance with the targets. The role will provide the best service to the customers and ensure that quality of products and services meet customer expectations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Planning
  • Gathers, collates and reports to Product Manager/Supervisor information and data obtained from the market and customers on aspects of the particular product assigned
  • Prepares sales plans, forecasts and targets for his assigned market, area and customers
  • Plans the promotions of assigned products thru brochures, sample demonstrations, etc.
  • Plans customer calls and visits maximizing time to cover as many customers as possible
  • Plans and develops prospecting for new clients in coordination with Product Manager/Supervisor
  • Plans and develops strategies to collect accounts specific to each customer
Execution
  • Acquires basic and continuously upgrade product knowledge and its application
  • Secures and seeks cooperation of support services – Technical, Distribution and Delivery, Accounting, Administration to ensure quality of products and services to customers
  • Prepares actual sales and collection performance reports and analyzes variances against plans and forecasts
  • Provides effective feedback to concern departments on product quality, service, pricing, market conditions and customer needs/expectations
  • Takes or initiates actions on customer issues and queries
  • Keeps and maintains sales and collection records covering area of responsibility

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Administration/Management, Marketing or any related courses
  • At least 1-4 years of sales experience
  • Good personality and salesmanship
  • Must be interested in sales, fieldwork and technically inclined
  • With exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal relations and team player but can work independently
  • With experience in consumer care products or chemical sales (personal care, oleochem, surfactants, cosmetics etc.) is a plus
  • Chemical Engineers/Chemist with sales experience or with interest in sales are welcome to apply
  • Knows how to drive a car is a plus
  • Amenable for a 6-days workweek schedule
  • Willing to work in Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City
